Paper tax discs will soon be scrapped forever, but a survey of drivers has found that a half are clueless about the new rules. The survey, of more than 1,000 people, suggests that the DVLA has failed to efficiently inform motorists of the changes – despite them coming in from the 1 October 2014. Ford is expanding its Sync Applink technology, adding it to several 2012 models that will start arriving in dealerships late this summer. Sync Applink, which debuted on the 2012 Ford Mustang earlier this year, enables drivers to access their smartphone apps via Sync's voice controls. Applink will be included in the Sync package, which is an extra-cost option on many Ford vehicles.
Spy photographer Brenda Priddy serves up a fresh look at the Ferrari F450, the car set to replace the F430 in Ferrari's lineup later this year. From this prototype, spotted being loaded into a hauler, we see that the styling is updated but not a radical departure from the F430. The new model designation comes from an increase in displacement for the V8 to 4.5 liters.
